Their next meeting is Thursday, March 1, at 7 p.m. at the Maturago Museum. I've been to one of their meetings and it was a pleasure to be there. It was at that meeting that I took one of the photos I used in the assignment on Shadows. China Lake is a little over an hour drive from Lancaster.
In this next meeting they will be giving an overview of Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, and CS5. They're also looking for photographers to join them at the Wildflower Festival April 13-15.
These folks are friendly and always have some great photos to share. They also know the desert well and the best shooting locations and subjects in the area.
