Has anyone had any experience with the Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) Wiki Night?

"...informal atmosphere to share their ideas, projects and thoughts." "...creative ideas from architects, designers, artists, sculptors, graphic designers, photographers, painters, filmmakers, writers, performers, musicians, dancers, journalists, typographers, publishers, engineers, illustrators, etc."

These are apparently scheduled for the third Thursday of each month.

I have not, but I've been curious. I think the discussions are on lots of things, interesting for sure. I am focusing on a few skill areas now. but interested.

I stopped by the MOAH building today while in town and there's quite a bit of construction going on in there. I couldn't see any part of the place that had any art in it, though it could have been upstairs. I didn't see any way in past the construction. We may have to wait for the next one but it does sound interesting.

After I wrote my note I read the LPA newsletter which says about the MOAH "All show pieces are displayed at various businesses along Lancaster Blvd. Look for entries accepted by LPA members Helen Henry, Dale Ware, Carol Moss, Douglas Wade, and others." I guess I need to do a walkabout.

thanks Glenn for the shout out. As I mentioned, I have not attended a WIKI night, but are they meeting in the Art Loft next door?
