Antelope Valley Lifestyle magazine is seeking its Photo of the Month.

Do you have a skilled eye to capture what's unique and special about the Antelope Valley?

Do you have a great scenic shot that you want to share or a candid image or dramatic portrait of a special person or pet?

The photos must be taken in the Antelope Valley.

For the August issue, send us your photo submissions by 5 p.m. Friday, July 6, to Special Sections Editor Karen Maeshiro at kmaeshiro@avpress.com, or call her at (661) 267-4132. Only digital images or digital copies of film images will be accepted.

Photos should be a minimum of 300 dpi, in jpeg format, and no more than 4 MB when uncompressed.

Include a caption that describes the photo, and provide a phone number or email address. Entries are limited to one per person. (Note: Featured photos from the same person will be limited to two times a year.)
