The January LPA Newsletter, http://www.lpaphotography.org/Newsletter/Archives/2009/pdf/0109.pdf is out and I'm envious of Kimberlie Grose's snow photo with the sun in the background. I have never gotten a photo with the sun in the background AND good detail in the foreground without blowing out half the sky.
I can't answer your question Glenn, but one of mine made it. It's untitled, except being from me. It was taken before 4PM on Wednesday, Dec 17th. Was taken from a second floor window at City Hall.
Can anyone tell me the secret?
