PALMDALE –The City of Palmdale is accepting photographic submissions of images from the Palmdale area from residents that could be selected as the “Photo of the Week†on the homepage of the City’s Web site, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cityofpalmdale.org">http://www.cityofpalmdale.org</a><;!-- m -->.
“We’re going to be unveiling our redesigned Web site in the next few weeks and as part of the redesign, we are incorporating a ‘Photo of the Week,’†said Communications Manager John Mlynar. “We thought it would be fun to ask our residents to send in their photos and perhaps theirs will end up as our featured image.â€
“What we’re looking for are interesting photographs of the Palmdale area, including landscapes, buildings, homes and recreational activities in the City,†said Mlynar.
To submit your photos to the Webmaster for consideration, visit <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cityofpalmdale.org">http://www.cityofpalmdale.org</a><;!-- m -->, click on the “Community Info†tab on the left hand side of the screen and click on “Photo Gallery.†All submitted photos that are accepted for display will only be used on the City of Palmdale’s Web site. No compensation will be provided for use of the photos and there is no guarantee that submitted photos you submit will be used. “If your photo is selected for the ‘Photo of the Week,’ we will contact you and give you a photo credit,†Mlynar said.
