Dear Interested Persons:

As many of you know, I have been campaigning to save the childhood home Judy Garland lived in at 44665 Cedar Ave, Lancaster, California between 1931 and 1933.

Good news is that Jeffrey and Star Moffatt purchased the home in January. The Moffatts are enthusiastic about turning the Judy Garland home into a museum to preserve the early history of Judy Garland’s time within our town. Garland is an internationally known star and singer whose song, “Over the Rainbow” is the number one song of all time. Billions of people have seen her best-known movie, the Wizard of Oz.

The Moffatts and I want to show evidence to the City of Lancaster that there is an actual demand from people like yourself to preserve Judy Garland’s legacy with the startup of a museum.

Time is critical. Could you please send an email letter of support for the museum to:

editor@avpress.com (The Antelope Valley Press) with a copy to me labeled Judy Garland to bonniedstone@verizon.net

If you prefer, please fax a copy to 661-945-3019, or mail a copy to 43625 N. Sierra Hwy, Suite A, Lancaster, CA 93534.

Also, would you send this email to as many of your friends and acquaintances as well as artists, musicians and those interested in historic preservation – even outside of the city and state. Showing a wide range of support will help.

I appreciate all your support

Respectfully,

Bonnie D. Stone,
