First off, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bonnie and Terri who both gave me a hand in saving 30 clams as I upgraded to Photoshop Elements 7. Bonnie gave me the coupon; Terri and her clan met me at Costo since I'm not a card carrying member of that high-brow, “members only” establishment. Thank you, ladies.

While bumming around Costco, we got into a conversation about PSE 7 manuals. Terri suggested I look into PSE 7: The Missing Manual (O'Reilly Press – Barbara Brundage). Thanks, again.

Barnes & Noble had a single copy left. Not any longer. I also picked up a copy of PSE 7 for Dummies. PSE 7 for Dummies is for quick reference while PSE 7: The Missing Manual is for more in depth stuff. In a rough analogy, if PSE 7 were to teach me the English alphabet, PSE 7: The Missing Manual would teach me college senior's English.

I picked up a third book while I was there, Magic Lantern Guides: Nikon D80, for the camera I shoot. The manuals we get with our cameras leave a lot to be desired. This book is small enough to fit in my camera bag while going into great detail.

All in all, today was a productive day. To celebrate, I got a three topping pizza, plopping down on my couch and watched a DVR of who won last week's American Idol. I'm a wildman.

Thanks, Sue. With the two that I have, I hope this would be sufficient.
