Thank You to all the Club members that put Tuesday night's workshop on. As usual the program was awesome, there was something in it for everyone. Put on for beginners, Tylene took us through photography 101,what to and what not to do,the program she put on was very easy to follow and the question and answer period was very helpful also. All though we have had these things shown and told to us time and again by the Senior Members and the guest hosts from other workshops, Tylene put this program together in a nice chronological order that helped make sense of it all. The biggest things that stuck out for me to work on ,was border merge, border tension and most of all better framing of the photo when You take the picture, so you have something much better to work with when it comes time for processing.
I was very proud of the program that our club put on.We had some new members and a lot of the general public was there. I saw many of our Senior members there helping the new comers with their camera's and questions that they had on taking better photography. We received what amounts to the beginning of of a college class. Now all we have to do is get out and start practicing what we have been shown.
Thanks again to Tylene for all the hard work that it took to prepare and put on the program on .John Shedrick for all the behind the scenes work that he did to bring us this program and also Dennis and Beth Goodno, Paul and Sue Craft, Nan Carder, Helen Henry, Sue Libreto, Anita Kratofil, Terri Garner, Dave Anderson and any one else that I May have missed That helped with Questions that the attendees had.
Jerry Henry
P.S. We have a great club!!

That was a neat class. I went out today and shot 351 pictures in different modes - landscape, close-up, sports (action). Scenery, flowers, some wildlife, it was a blast. I went 50-50 today. The first half was in JPG Fine, then RAW. Most of the RAW came out OK, but running them through PSE 7, some were splotchy in places.

My thanks to all involved.

I just want to say thank you to Jerry, you gave us some great info as well. We went out by the Poppy Reserve today too and got some great shots (no poppies) using all the useful info from last night.

On the site's main page, click on "Past Events." It's the first item at the top of the list.

Arley/Don,

Thanks for the quick reply. Great Stuff can't wait to get home and read with detail. Thank you.

By the way,

It's a shame I do not have time to attend these. I get out at 6PM from Valencia. I hope to attend to at least one per month I'll work something out.

Thanks, everyone for the kind comments. I too want to thank everyone who came to the workshop and especially those who helped the guests and newer members with their camera questions. It was really neat to hear such good comments from the folks who were being helped. One of the guests has asked me to give her scrapbooking group a class on improving their photos. That will be fun. Big Grin
