Does anyone know of a good recovery program to restore deleted Jpegs..on my computer..someone else accidently deleted a photo folder...and then emptied the recycle bin. I installed Picasa yesterday and saw all my deleted files coming up...but when the program finished installing..the pictures I want arent in the picasa folders..so now that i know the pictures are somewhere in the land of oz...how can i get them back..I know there are several software programs to get them..but which one works the best...??

I'm surprised no one has replied, at least not on the forum. So far I haven't had to use any of those recovery programs but if you do find one that works can you tell us which one? Losing files is a common problem and I'm sure my turn is coming.
That said, how did it go with installing Picasa? This is another program I'm interested in.

Thanks Arley, it's not my memory card, its my computer...that has the deleted images...I took those pictures last year in Oct..so i dont think i can recover them off the CF card..they are in my laptop...and Glenn the Picasa is nice..i like it and better yet it's free..
r-studio works on harddrives too.
I might add that the more you write to the affected drive, the less chance you have of retriveing the files, so if the drive is working, and especially if its C drive, you should take action right away.
