As the hostess chair, I propose we do our part in saving the enviroment from plastic ware. I found a few websites selling disposable forks, etc made from compostable materials. They cost more than plastic... Any thoughts?..We are out of forks and I really hate to buy more plastic.... Heres a link to the best price I could find

Or we could collect the forks and I would take home and put thru the dishwasher...
Or bring food that doesnt need a fork......... Big Grin

I got the forks at Costco.. we will set up something so they dont get thrown out

You're not out of forks, I have them. I took them for the BBQ and forgot to bring them in with me on Tuesday. I'll bring them to the workshop on Tuesday along with the extras I had purchased.

Sue, thank you for your offer of collecting, washing, and re-using the non-compostable plastic ware. You'll have a lot of support. We need to consider purchasing only earth friendly ware in the future, even it it cost a bit more up front. Our dollars spent will speak loudly. Sue Craft

Another option.
Since you're willing to collect them all and wash them, just skip the washing part and throw them in the plastic recycle bin.

Sue - as I posted in the other thread, the box I have is mostly knives with just a few forks LOL. So it's a good thing you bought some. Big Grin
