For those who would like to practice their night and/or street photography, Lancaster is having their "Celebrate Downtown Lancaster" event http://www.cityoflancasterca.org/Index.aspx?page=534 Friday, July 17th starting about 6:30 PM. As I understand it the city blocks off Lancaster Blvd for vendors and pedestrians. There will be live music, a farmer's market, arts, and crafts. This would be a good opportunity to see what your camera can do under unusual lighting conditions. It might even be entertaining.
