This contest runs through August 31, 2009 and is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Photos can be submitted by anyone, anywhere, but must be taken in the Southern California region. Categories include (1) Action Shots (2) Animals/Pets (3) Beach Life (4) Nature/Environment (5) People. Submissions are being judged by a well-respected panel of professionals from the photography community (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.socalphotocontest.com/judges.shtml">http://www.socalphotocontest.com/judges.shtml</a><;!-- m --> and we're are giving away a suite of very nice prizes:
