Arley,
Thanks for the link. We remodeled recently and haven't found everything yet, including our 3-d glasses.
A great location for 3-d photography is fossil falls North of Inyokern. The elevation changes, steps, and holes in the canyon are severe making them stand out in 3-d. Unfortunately my last trip up there was before I went digital.
I have no trouble crossing my eyes for 3-d pictures. Am I the exception or the rule?

I took a shot of my front yard a while back, around 10pm. I don't know what prompted me to do it. Must of been a post somewhere I ran across but anyway, I took out my Canon G9, put it on a tripod and shot a picture, then moved it over 6 in. and shot another one. I then brought it in the house and ran it through a free program called Stereo Photo Maker (Link Below). Did I say FREE !!

The software is not hard to learn and produces great results for the money.
There are two problems though, one is you need the 3D red/blue glasses to view it and 2, the color is a little off because of the glasses. I de-saturated mine.
I have 3 pair in the house that I use when I run across a 3d image on the net. NASA has quite a few of some of the mars Lander pictures in 3D. Totally Awesome.
If you don't have a pair, they can be had on eBay fairly cheeply (Link Below) or, if you happen to run across one, snatch it and put it aside in a drawer someplace.

Anyway, here's the picture. Get your glasses out if you got'em.
If you attempt to do this, Let's see how your pictures turn out.
These picture have limited value. Most people don't have the glasses. It's not something you could display at a museum ...., or could u. Now that I think about it, maybe it might be something someone may want to do, since it hasn't been done before that, I know of, and glasses are fairly cheep considering.
A 1024ppi image here.

.... anyway, have fun if you try it.
