Helen, thanks. I have one of his books on wildlife photography in my library. I like his writing because it's easy to read and simple to understand. He describes photographing in the wild by telling his own stories, short but entertaining, which gives a real feel for what it's like to go out and get some of those shots.
Also, I know the forum is not getting much input these days and, even though I don't post or reply often, I do appreciate postings like this. Further, I've talked to several folks who also read and appreciate these posts. They just don't feel like posting themselves for whatever reason. Sometimes I feel reluctant to post because my name is on so many already I feel like I'm hogging the bandwidth. LOL
Anyway Helen, please keep posting whenever you find something interesting. And for those who don't normally post please join in whenever you find something interesting. Just because no one replies doesn't mean that it isn't read or appreciated by the rest of us, it is.
