We all know a good studio portrait when we see one, but sometimes it’s the little things that make it memorable. Spend the morning with Ted and learn the subtle adjustments that take it from good to great. Ted helps you understand how to shade the highlight side of a face for dramatic effect; how to fill the shadows properly; how to use accent lighting; how to pose your subjects so that they tell you, “This is the best picture anyone has ever taken of me!” And best of all, learn how to shoot within a “safe zone” that will keep you in control and lead to great photographs than you thought possible. In the afternoon, Ted will show how to edit and identify the best images, and how to process them in Photoshop using the simplest of methods for a beautiful, professional-looking result that your subjects will be thrilled with.
