February S4C Results


Club News

In February, Don Bennett was our only LPA Interclub winner with his image Cheetah on Log for February. Scott Shackelford entered S4C as an individual with three images this month. His Wild Poppies Reaching Skyward received an Award in the Individual Color Digital Skill Level E, his Sequoia Snow Dusting received an Honorable Mention in the Nature Skill Level E, and his Greek Doric Temple also received an Honorable Mention in Travel Skill Level E. Nice going Scott.

LPA Winners in PSA EID Interclub


Club News

Lancaster Photography Association had two more winners in the recent Electronic Imaging Division Interclub competition held in January.

Sue Liberto's Nature's Bounty and Don Bennett's Owlets in Tree won Merit Awards. Congratulations go to both of these members, and many thanks goes to all of the members who have been sharing their images this year.

Helen Henry had two acceptances in the first PSA CPID Individual Creative competition with Day Tripping in LA and Ship and Moon.

LPA First in PSA Photojournalism Competition


Club News

Congratulations go to the members who contributed to the 1st place finish of the first PSA Photojournalism competition. Arliss Dawson won an Award and 1st place with Alabama It Is OK in the PJ Human Interest section, Michael Harris won an Award and 2nd place with Brush Fire, and Sue Liberto won an Honorable Mention 5th place with Mounted Shooter in PJ Open. Way to go LPA! Other members were Sue Craft, Helen Henry and Nan Carder.

2011-2012 PSA Creative Interclub Competitions Data


Club News

Carol Moss and her picture "Celebrating Onions" won the first round of the PSA Creative Interclub competition. Congratulations Carol.

This year, Lancaster Photography Association (LPA) has been placed in Group B. LPA ended up in 5th place overall. Carol's image will be submitted for the Best of the Best competition at the end of the competition season for the PSA Creative Interclub year end awards. Good Luck Carol.

December 2011 S4C Results


Club News

Congratulations goes to both Dee Hunter (Lucas-Vintage) and Michael Harris (Old Town) for winning Awards at the December 2011 S4C competition.

This is the first time S4C had remote judging, and it went very well. The judges were Joanne Stolte, APSA, MPSA, HonS4C, DFS4C, Lin Craft, APSA, and Tom Griffith, AS4C.

If anyone is interested in competing in S4C please contact Nan Carder or Helen Henry.
