Would like to discuss the Oct “Travel” competition. Anticipate “LOW” participation, therefore, would like to take a member vote at the general meeting to change the theme to “OPEN” so the members who entered in the AVF would be able to compete with their best AVF entries. 

[image1] Images can be submitted to the LPA Website for the competition now through July 14th at 11:59 P.M. The judge for this Action competition is Ross Way. Mr. Way is an event photographer with AV Media who specializes in sports and action photography. He has a background in graphic arts and illustration, and after receiving his Associates Degree at Antelope Valley College, he attended the Art institute of Southern California in Laguna Beach, California. He covers a variety of local sporting events and is currently the team photographer for the Lancaster JetHawks, the Advanced Class A Affiliate of the Houston Astros. You’re invited to join Ross for a no-host dinner at 4:30 P.M. at the Greenhouse Café, in Lancaster, before the Competition and General meeting.

Our competition this evening is ACTION – Motion being portrayed as the dominant theme, includes sports.
