What are the chances that we may have a field trip to Bodie next year?
Anything's possible. We did that trip in 2006 and everyone came back with some great pictures.

It would just take a trip leader to commit. Sue, Kay and Tylene may qualify since they led the last one and have the experience in dealing with the rangers.
Did you hear that Arley, you would make a great trip leader..

Oh come on now, Arley....it was just a suggestion. I can only imagine the work that goes into planning a trip like that. Is September the best time to go? Well hopefully we will be able to go next year...
Ya know, you might want to check out Ransburg if you're looking for something close by and similar. There's a lot of potential there for that kind of photography. It's an old mining town and is still occupied but there are a lot of abandoned building there. All you would need is a horse and you would be in the twilight zone.

I have a couple other pictures in the Gallery.
