My name is rather bland sounding, and i would love some input, or maybe a great place to generate something ..some friends have suggested a few, but i am not so sure...HOCUS FOCUS PHOTOGRAPHY sounds scary to me.. lol About Face...or Afterglow..kind of corny maybe..Thanks i really appreciate any suggestions.
Sharon, no one likes their name. I do not like mine. I just started a photography business and decided to use my name for a few reasons. I do not have to do a DBA, second, I am the photographer and want name recognition. Unless, you plan to have multiple photographers under your business, having your name on cards, prints, and anything else reinforces your brand or in this case you the photographer.

You can make it a little more personal, like "Photography by Sharon". My thoughts are if you working with people like doing portraiture, they want to feel comfortable. A name like, "Photography by Sharon" does that compared to something that I will make it up, like "The photo place" or "House of Clicks", kinda of thing.
For me, I have been online before the internet and there are many "Doug Wade's" out there. I have met five or six. I chose as my online presences as, "Douglas Paul Wade", I have never met another. Everything I do online is now my full name. It was natural for me to use, "Douglas Paul Wade Photography".
