I spent the day at W-S and had a ball....again. I uploaded 638 pics and that doesn't include somewhere between 80-100 I dumped at the camera before heading home. As soon as I can get through this mass, I'll post some.
When I got there, I asked if LPA could get on the access list. The gate man sent to the office where I got it squared away in the event more LPA folk should want to come today. I was the only one that I know of.
They had four car classes race to include some groovy muscle cars. The bike track was busy with beginner students so not much action went on there unless taking corners at 5-6 miles per hour and straightaway speeds of maybe 30-40 mph gets your goat. The KART track had a mess of them little go-cart looking things racing around all day.

I started out in Nikon's Sport (action) mode for the first few hours before switching to shutter priority which gave me a lot more leeway. I ran the speed dial from 1/500 to 1/4000. The larger the pictures are, the more detail that comes out so I hope Flickr's medium will do. This is some of what went on at Willow Springs today.
